Truth Set Free

Last week i was watching some old Hollywood series and i have to say i am really sorry but British shows lately are getting so good than Hollywood series.
Don’t get me wrong hollywood series are good but they are too bright, colorfull, too much mood music and almost centred around sex , F word, alcohool, drugs, war.

Now British shows have some deep sense ,i watch Jekyl , i watch Torchwood (Just to named somes ), i watch lots and i don’t know why but am always hook to my seat because every minutes ,secondes in the movie count .

I watched my wife ,friends ,kids whenever British series on , they are so concentrated but whenever some hollywood series in, you can see the distraction all over.

Last time i asked the question and we all came to the same conclusion : British shows dive more in your soul and mind while Hollywood’s are more just for the pleasure of the mind,it’s like watch, enjoy just at that time but British shows while watching them you think aswell and when it’s done you wonder more ?

Please i dont hate Hollywood shows ,just its too much centred around one topic :sex,drugs,women ,alcohol,war and when  at least something with good drama out ,the rating system always get them cancelled.
I have to agree i love american series and always bought those i like but am in love with British series lately , just beautifull,stories,content,ending , just Bravo . No fake or happy ending all the time ,and on top of that British accent always give them little more flavor.

Now this is just my opinion and few others ,if you feel i am wrong , give your thought but please no hate or patriotism ,i can change my mind tomorrow if i do really find some i like or remenber the next day.

Remenber its just a thought about hollywood series not the full lenght movies .

Sometimes i personally think the government make it easier or just knowingly let people abuse the system till they get fed up or some political opponent raises the question not for a greater social solution but just as a way of proving the old system failed to deliver.

In UK “Childcare Tax Credit ” is so open for abuses .
Applicants for the Childcare Tax Credit have to give the registration number of the care provider they are using. But the number can easily be obtained because nurseries,childminders are required to quote it on every piece of paper they provide to clients.

Then after you managed to find some registration number and give them with when the kid going to the childminder ,usually weekdays you are working aswell , the cost will be paid into your bank.

But what they don’t realize is lot of parents don’t take their kid to the childminder after that ,or they managed to negociate a lower fees ,or the time they said they are working changed , so what they getting is not what they paying to the childminder.Some even just use some others people registration number to get the costs.
The worst part is lot of people signed usually like a year or six month contract with their childminders but then when the contract ends, they will take their kids off the childminder but still don’t noticed the IR ,so the cost still be paid.

Like a month ago i raised the question with some childminder and asked him if he can’t called the inland revenu and noticed them how many kids he got or when a contract end and you sure the parents getting childcare costs?

His reply make me wonder more : He told me he called himself inland revenu and asked that same question and the gentleman he talked to said no he is not allowed to called ,its the parents responsability since it’s them the cost goes too.

Why the IR can’t just set a tighter rule or even allow the care provider to contact them when the contract end or at least send a copy of the contract or some sort of proofs or eve paid directly to the care provider?

Yes i know you can’t trick the system ,it’s just a matter of time before you get caught but isn’t it should be hard in the first place instead of open for frauds ?

So who to blame now if one day you get caught in childcare fraud ? Inland Revenue for living it so open or your fault trying to abuse it a little bit more ?

Was at a friend  house today afternoon playing scrabble , so his younger kid on year 6 came in .
I invite him to stay with us a bit .
After the scrabble round since i wasn’t leaving yet i told him to bring his book so we can read a bit ,then everything tasted bitter.

He said he doesn’t have any book from school ,i said no problem bring some other book you
got ,then he brought “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows”.

The reading started and : Oh my Lord !
He can’t read ,i mean a student of year 6 can’t read the book ,yet to say undersntand it.
I was so amazed i called the father and started asking questions : What’s going on ? because in
september coming the kid will start secondary school.

How is it possible i don’t know , yet the kid passed to next class up every year in school.
He doesn’t even know what’s vowel or consonant in the alphabet .
He doesn’t even know England anthem ,is just too weird for me.I can understand if he is not a
student .

Although the father try to give him a good environment and gadgets every kid want i think
the part of the problem lie there .The kid come from school ,straight to his psp ,then the
ds,then disney channel ,no reading or such thing .By the time he finished diner its bed time
then wake,school ,home with no home work and so on and on .
The father don’t read to the kid ,he uses the tv and the games as a learning tools ,when i asked
him ” he said i am too tired to read for him that’s why i bought all the gadgets he needed and
am a single dad “.

Yes! you are single dad but what about other millions single parents or full families facing the
same problems ?

Half of the problem lies i think in the education system or should say lies in the Public school
system where kids even they can’t read still passed the class ?

Is public school that bad ? or there is no more “Fail the class” ?

I mean is true that public school is not that great but if i have to send my kid to school and
back home still the same i rather educate him myself at home no offence to public school.
