Truth Set Free

Parents use dummies in a regular basis and we all like when the baby don’t cry too much specially when we are at the mall or shopping but really do dummies have a good impact in the baby development ?

I have two kids and the old one is about 3 1/2 years old now and it took him very long to talk .

He started babling when he was like 8-12 month which we (the parents) didn’t like at all .
The main reason i think of it now is the use of dummy on a daily basis.We gave him dummy once and he loved it so fast , then he get hooked to it .
He won’t sleep without it , he will cry out all night long if he doesn’t get it and most of all he preferred it over the breast milk which he eventually stop before 4 month old.

Now the 2nd baby is about 4 month old and we decided to not use dummy anymore and i have to say although is a slow process to peace when it comes to baby cry and noise we just enjoying it.
The baby cry lot that’s for sure but the most amazing is that the baby babbling already since he was like 1 month 1/2.
We were very surprise at how fast the speech are going just by not using dummy and how he stuck to the breast milk and do the opposite of its big brother , he doesn’t want the bottle milk , only breastfeed, and you have to keep reading and talking to him all the time he is babbling otherwise he will just keep crying.

- Now i can never say its fun because is not if you have to wake up the next morning  7 am for work , but it’s good for the baby speech learning.
There are tons of researches and studies about it and i wish i did check them first as there more problems can occur like using a dummy prevents babies from babbling, link to stomach and other infections, dental infections, ear infections, and can lead to   breastfeeding crisis, but again there is another study which revealed dummy can be good sometimes as they may help prevent cot death and the evidence was so compelling that in 2007 the Foundation for the Study of Sudden Infant Death (FSID) changed its guidelines to include dummy use.

But for us and if we ever have another kid ( hopefully in our next life ) will not use dummy or any sort like again as we see how not using it improved our new baby speech greatly.

Yes there always a good side of everything bad but if you think you can find the balance i guess then you are in the right zone .

Remember this is our own observations of our own kid behaviour using dummy and we are not a scientist (that mean can be wrong too) , so if you have a baby and thinking of using or not , do yourself a favor and Google it or research a bit instead of just taking what you read here as fact as even different environment can lead to different results.

Unless you been living under the earth , you surely read all over the net about the ICANN Paris latest adopted Resolutions.

The important one is definitely the resolution about open the net for big corporations .Big corporations can now register their name or any name or just lets say anything as long as they have the funds to handle it i guess.

So now we are heading from .com to .truthsetfree, .google, .ibm, .fox, news.cnn , travel.cnn or .anything . From some others net source it seems it will cost about 100000 $ (well if there is no others bidders or trademark issues).

But i have mixed feeling about this :

• Worries:
  
  -Will this really works since we all know people don’t like changes ?
  -Big corporations spend millions and millions in advertisement of their .com already so this is another investment even more if you include support and all the technicals part of assuring their extension stability.
  -I think there will be too much mess though not every company can afford it .
• Hopes:
  
  -Nowadays people use search engines for everything so the success of this really lies in the hand of the big G,Y,M and the others search engine.
  -New net users will be OK with the changes since they didn’t know the old system anyway
  -Big corporations like very much their brands or trademarks so the ego will translate very much in this open market.

There so much good and bad on this you can’t really list them all without making a whole 1000 pages , but one thing for sure i know is :

• -Search engines are the key for this to succeed so that mean more business for them.
  -If you can afford to purchase a premium domain costing you more than a million or over 500000$ i guess why not just apply for your own ?.
  -also how about truthsetfree.com and .truthsetfree been own by different people how the traffic going to be ?.

Lets just hope the new rules which will start kickoff next year bring more business to all .
