You know, most of the time we don’t tell our loved one’s how much we love them because we always think : OH i will do it tomorrow!
Yesterday morning taking my kids to school, i came across a scene which make me rethink how important and precious life is, that we shouldn’t take anything for granted, and most importantly tell those around us how we felt about them.
The picture below is the scene of an accident where a lady riding a bicycle collided with a truck, and talking with some witnesses, i gathered the lady might passed away(i don’t know the truth of this as noone seems to be 100% sure about that).
Riding the kids back to school , i just couldn’t believe i shaded some tears although i don’t know her, i felt like it could happen to anyone, so people please live each day as your last, get your things, will, any documents in order, and never ever “PUT FOR TOMORROW WHAT YOU CAN DO TODAY!” .

From my friend misfortune I started to understand fully Richard Dawkins’s anger toward religion and why religion is the heart of world problem? Forget war, terrorism and such crap, religion is the root of all evil.
Few month back my best friend living in London told me he is going to start the secondary school application process for his 11 year old son and we were all happy, but after applying to 6 secondary school though only 2 near his home, like 2mn walk he started to realized it isn’t going to be easy.
Why? Because the school near home is a Presbyterian school and the other nearest is a catholic school.
On the form for both schools there is a place for your father to fill for the catholic school and your pastor for the Presbyterian ones.
My friend son was baptised in catholic and go to church sometimes but not every Sunday so he took both forms to the priest of his church and asked if he could sign the priest/pastor part, the father agreed to filled only the catholic school form as he is not allowed to sign for the Presbyterian school pastor part which I think is normal.
So couldn’t find any pastor to sign the form he took it back to the school and explained his dilemma and the admission lady said its fine although a pastor signature would be great.
Few weeks later he gets a letter from the school for the kid to come for an entry test which the kid went to and did well
Last week he get the admission letter and surprised the kid didn’t get into the school near his home but one a bit far away and in the letter they give you only one week to accept it or refuse it but again as advised in the letter it’s better to accept it and maybe call the admission team of others school and find out why you get refused and see if you can get into the school waiting list
So he called the school admission team to find out why they refused the son and you will not believe the reason and it’s really shocking:
The simple reason why the kid didn’t get to the school is because no pastor signed his form!!
We all thought the kid failed the test but no.
He explain to the lady that the school is very near , just 1mn walk from him and he would like the kid to get in there , so she said they sent a letter and he can appeal and see.
Now my question is why should we bring religion or faith to school?
Don’t get me wrong, I am a Christian but I believe religion shouldn’t be mixed with school and even more, need to be member of church to be able to get into a school.
Faith school for me is even worse than a terrorist group.

In 2001 When 24 Series started with Dennis Haysbert as black president
people said all over this will never happened in real hehe and it did.
Now the new season 7 with Cherry Jones as the president which mean
the first lady president make me thinking who is next going to the White House?If 24 was our next president choice base, then we can safely said the next
president in America will be A Lady?
Time will tell but for now let’s see how it will turn out.
This is just my own thought and view as i see t , not based on any poll or
research, so don’t waste your time on it.
A quick thought I am being trouble lately with is how people or
African Americans put so much hope in Obama or most just
thinking things will change overnight with Obama as first
black president in America.
My question is though:
- Will people life really changed?
- Will Obama really make a difference?
Or
- Is this just an illusion of hope where there’s really no hope?
Am really struggling with these questions because I have lot of
friends and whenever we discussed politics their hope with
Obama as president seems too high for me.
