For one more time I played through the Yakuza 3 Jap demo and at the end, I started to check around the net to see if there is any new news about it being released over here, and I found at gamefaqs.com some petition sites.I was very happy though about them because that show we are not the only one missing this gem.

So I started to realize maybe Sega was wrong not porting it over here but now if even they want to do it, it will maybe took another year or so and by then we all will forget about it or our thirst of it will be fulfilled by all the videos, cut-scenes, ending and gameplay videos from YouTube and the sort, which mean Sega will lose few fans and potential buyers, although the real fans will still grab it anyway.

So my two cent for all these Japanese developers, start maximising your product potential by just adding some bloody English subtitles to them.

It cost less than voice over and mostly people really preferred anyway Jap voice with English subs.

Some guy told me if you add eng subs then you must support online too for them and I said NO NO: add English subs so people can import the game but they know they can’t have the extras features online provide.

PS3 is region free when it comes to games so why still make it looks like old ps2 with just Japanese language without English subs?

My one petition is for all those Jap developers: Start Adding English Subs To Jap Only Titles or Bring Them Over in Less Than a Year!

I love video games but these new DLC things start to look more like
laziness than just enhancement of the games.

Yea I know some dlc really make the game better and some purely
just for costumes.
My question is why pricing it? Why can’t it just be free?

I really think dlc is making developers and publishers lazy and
greedy in a way that what should be included in the original
game get removed to be released as dlc and be priced.

In the past games had hiding costumes you can enable after
achieving some crazy hard stuff now you just buy them which
really sucks but again it’s just my thought though.

Unless you had been living in another planet, you know, heard about
all the layoff going on right now.

The world economy is in very distress situation, but my question to
companies is why let people go?

Instead of letting people go, why don’t you just keep them and pay
 half or less wages to them or give them choices:

>>go and get nothing or stay and get less till situation fixed?

I know that some companies might just use it as excuse to pay less
but there can be regulations to that rule such as this only apply to
old and on layoff list employees.

I mean at this moment maybe only few very over qualify might
actually find another job when they get fired, so the rest going
to join the already benefit users and high up the jobless , but a
solution for less wages and higher than benefits is more likely
to make everyone confortable , certainly not happy though.

Have you been let go lately or do you think this method worth it?

I am no expert so this is my bit, keep comment related to topic please.

I will not make a long post here but all you read lately is Wii break records or PS3 is not doing well.Well let’s look at it differently and you will realize its normal PS3 is not doing well.

Let’s see right now:

-Wii and DS are doing well because all focus on Gamecube and GBA gone.
-Xbox 360 is doing well because support or releases for original Xbox gone, but.
-Sony PS3 is walking the line with PS2 which just make it hard and on top PS2 games still being released right now up until June this year.

In my opinion Sony need to cease game releases for PS2 and focus on PS3 but then try and find a way for PS3 owners to play PS2 games or start selling PS2 games on PS Store.

And one plus PS3 have over the rest is , so far hackers havn’t been able to break it yet, so everyone playing at least PS3 games is legit while there’s modchip all over the net for X360 and Wii.

They said you can’t follow two path at the same time.

Now i say if PS2 is out of the line those report and analyses can be 100% accurate because right now it’s like 2 vs 1.
The report should go like PS2+PS3 vs Wii , not just Ps3 vs Wii or x360 vs Ps3

[update] Seems a hacker have found a way to play PS2 games on PS3, Sony need to get this to work legally not some hackers program which can break down the unit, we want official tool.

Am not a PS3 fanboy so please keep comment relevant to the topic.

If you’ve been following this freak news when last year a 16 year old boy Daniel Petric shot his parents in cold blood because they took away his Halo 3 (halo 3 is an Xbox 360 game) which resulted in his mother’s death but the father survived, am sure you must be disgust because it’s just insane and one of those things you just don’t know what to think.

Petric now 17 had his hearing last month, and today the judge has convicted him of his crimes although no sentence was passed on yet, he is facing the maximum possible penalty of life sentence in prison without parole.

Described as a cold, calculating killer who plotted to murder his parents by the prosecutors, the defence in other hand attributed his crimes to irresponsibility due to his video game addiction (it was also revealed that when Petric left the crime scene, there was only one thing which he took with him: his copy of the Halo 3 game), thankfully the Judge overruled this stupid argument, and pointed to evidence saying that he actually plotted the act.

“Mark Petric, who is a minister at New Life Assembly of God in Wellington, testified that his son came into the room and asked: “Would you guys close your eyes? I have a surprise for you.”
The father testified that he expected a pleasant surprise. Then his head went numb from a gunshot and he survived. His wife, Susan, 43, died of gunshot wound to the head.”

I really was going to blame the parent for bad parenting but even bad parenting doesn’t deserve a gun shot.

The father was a priest so I know there might be some up and down there but the kid deserve prison for life, I don’t really believe in death sentence because killing him won’t do any good , I rather let him live and feel the sorrow , sadness, loneliness , shame of his act.
