Fake Emails : Don’t Fall For It
Everyone once get that email from your bank or paypal even from ebay saying something wrong with your account or such and then it say “follow this link or click here …”.
Seriously i really don’t know how people still fall for those type of mail.
I personaly don’t click any link from email ,if i get email from my bank or paypal or ebay i never ever followed or clicked those link in the email, i always prefered to type in myself the web address and check if really some wrong .
For instance this email:
Everything looks fine as if it’s legit, but check the link .
If you mouse over the link and check your status bar you ll see some different than halifax.co.uk link, this is from the right-click ,copy shortcut :
” htp://ww.photos.thrustgear.com/Cones/images/a3XcFqGpyVe

So as you can see this not a genuine mail from the bank but just someone tryng to get you believe so .
- To avoid these just use a simple rule : Don’t click anything or follow any link from your mail , type in the address yourself , one minute typing it can save you lot of dollars and lot of time trying to proove to the bank you are genuine . Protect yourself .
